A step-by-step progress of my drawing Tea and Moths. I originally made this for friends who were curious about my "process." I put "process" in quotes because I'm kind of new to this, and I'm still trying to settle on a personal method of digital painting. Every piece is made a little differently, but so far I think this is a fairly good representation of my method. Hope this is helpful to someone out there.
I work in Photoshop Elements using a Wacom Tablet. Usually I use round basic brushes. I also like using these custom brushes from Melanie Delon:
