I created this piece as the cover for a short story called "Infant Insomnia" by Annaliese Lemmon. The story is about a woman named Ama who can travel to multiple possible futures in her dreams. Her newborn baby girl is slowly dying of unknown causes. Desperate, Ama swims through the futures to find the reason behind her baby's demise so that she can prevent it in the present.
It's a really good story, I honestly loved it. You can read a free preview of it at the author's website: annalieselemmon.wordpress.com/…
And you can buy the Kindle e-book at Amazon: www.amazon.com/Infant-Insomnia…?
It sounds like a good story. I can't wait til it comes out.

I love the composition of this, and how the center of the clock lines up with her heart.
Beautifully emotive and moving. Also I love the composition and how you used the floating pages to frame the figures. Very cool!
